Maison de cire Trudon was established in 1643 & quicly became famous for the high quality of its wax and candles. After having become Royal Manufacturer in 1719, Cire Trudon continued to improve its wax and products to create a fully natural candle of unique vegetal wax that burns perfectly.
Skilful and demanding, Maison de cire Trudon draws all its talent from its century-long experience and its craftsmen, who never ceased to explore and innovate to bring their waxes to perfection. Maison de cire Trudon holds a trade secret elaborated year after year : A wax paste made out of vegetal substances, a unique mixture, miscible with any fragrance and allowing a perfect and long-lasting combustion.
Benefiting from its entirely natural properties and total harmlessness, the wax is granted with a remarkable quality and a high tolerance to perfume diffusion. Although recent studies emphasize the danger in using some varieties of waxes, Maison de cire Trudon offers paraffin-free candles, candles totally devoid of any secondary mineral derived from petrochemistry. Confidential, this unique wax is made of palm oil, rice, soy and coprah. Candlewicks are weaved with pure cotton. All these natural components are totally safe to the users.
The candles contain none of the substances listed by OSPAR referred to by GreenPeace. No heavy metal, allergen nor any pesticide, enter the ingredient list. Biodegradable, the candles respect the environment. Natural and pure, the Trudon vegetal candles burn 70 to 80 hours. Their glass remains pure of burning marks usually left by mixtures made with paraffin.
