Kara Ross New York LLC is a privately owned luxury accessories company based in New York City. Founded in 2003 by designer Kara Ross, the company has rapidly grown and is known for its eclectic and unique designs. Kara, a certified GIA gemologisl has a love of colored stones that manifests in their frequent use in jewelry and handbags. In January 2008, Kara Ross won the FGI Rising Star Accessories Award. Inspired by alternative materials and stones like jet, marcasite, lava, wood, chalcedony, her vision is to create jewelry that has character and imagination. Natural flaws only add to the beauty and character of the piece. Like people, no two stones are alike.
Our focus on small production runs allows us to pay attention to details and deliver high quality. In this age of mass production, we celebrate the artist"s hand, the beauty in natural imperfections and the uniqueness of a piece. We believe in bold and tasteful luxury, that delivers joy to the wearer. Be it our jewelry or handbags, we think of them as heirlooms.
In February 2008, during Fall Winter Fashion Week, we launched a new boutique jewelry line. The collection received rave reviews and is sold in department stores, luxury boutiques and e-commerce sites in the United States and abroad. The concept behind this line is that of a more affordable luxury. Staying true to our inspiration, we use natural stones and exotic skins that are used in our fine jewelry and handbag collections.
Our vision is to create products that combine modem elegance, simplicity, high quality and classic taste. We strive for balance between creativity and functionality.
At Kara Ross, we are committed to outstanding customer service and building relationships. Already sold in North America and Europe, currently, we are expanding our brand to Asia and new markets.
